“I have just two greyhounds currently racing. I enjoy ownership and having a racer or two involved in this exciting sport over the years.  With the great breeding and co-operation of Monte Jacobs along with his talented staff Kinda Cruel Red, has fulfilled my wildest expectations by being entered in the big dance,” says owner of Kinda Cruel Red, Edward Piziak, Jr. “I am appreciative of this honor and are hoping for a safe competitive race for all.”

The 2017 BetAmerica Daytona550 box draw will take place Monday, January 16 prior to the 12th race at approximately 3:40pm Eastern.

“The only guarantee I can give with JD Accomplice is that she will give 110 percent in her attempt to be crowned the National Champion.  I have been raising greyhounds for 30 years and it is still very rewarding, yet humbling to raise a dog like Accomplice, especially having raised her sire.  When Pam Hamilton was finishing her in training she said, “Whether she is in front or behind, she is very competitive and does not like to lose and I hold my breath every time she runs, she’s a typical JD Titanium pup.” explains JD Accomplice owner Jon Stidham.  “We knew she was a special talent at a very young age and you don’t get these types of dogs very often, so we are very proud and honored to have her in this prestigious event.  Special thanks goes out to Mike and Alicia Bushey who broke her in and Brian Webb who has continued her career.  Thanks also goes to the UGR team for inviting her and the Daytona track and their employees for putting on this special event.  Can’t way to be there! “

Many thanks to the following event sponsors: BetAmerica,  Florida Greyhound Association, Arkansas Greyhound Kennel Association, Texas Greyhound Association, TrackData Systems, PickInsider,  American Teletimer, Apparel Machine, Here Comes Rusty, Red Wing Shoes – Toledo, Ohio,  Brett Goucher, and Bolton Racing.
