Brian Witt

Brian Witt's  interest in racing began with the opening of Gulf Greyhound Park. After watching P’s Raising Cain run away from the competition and later seeing Gable Dodge break in as a pup, in the summer of 1997, it is no wonder why he became hooked on watching greyhounds run.

Brian’s interest in dog breeding initially involved other breeds, but his love of greyhounds and the sport of greyhound racing eventually led him to a limited greyhound breeding program, currently consisting of a trio of sisters. He is currently enjoying watching his pups at Bluffs Run, Southland, Tri-State and Naples.

He enjoys sharing the excitement of his greyhounds with others and has co-owners on most of his dogs for that reason. Similarly he envisions United Greyhound Racing as an opportunity to help support the sport and share the excitement of responsible greyhound racing with others, while also helping support the adoption groups that make it all possible.
